Me and Ray (one of my Best friends) went on a Texas trip to see Kris Graduate from TI school. Kris is the son of (another Best friend) George. We were familiar with the area a little from a trip to see him graduate from his basic training when we took a side trip to Freer to an earlier Rattlesnake Roundup. We got there on the tail end and decided to do this again but set aside a whole day to really see it all. Well, we did it up pretty good this time but I think I would like to do it again and catch the whole weekend. We stopped at a couple of places in search of the ultimate BBQ sandwich, but really didn't have much luck that far south. We did luck out and catch the Texas Festival in San Antonio which was loaded with Great food. The food at Freer was also pretty darn good. To me experiencing the foods from different areas and cultures can be as much fun as seeing the sights....... You'll see plenty of PICS with me stuffing my face.( Hey,what can I say-when in Rome) Well with all that said , if you want to see the pics come on in..................................... |
